Things I built
to solve
real problems.

A selection of software, automation systems and engineering projects built across real organizations, academic teams and independent work.

The technology changes. The approach usually doesn't: understand the system first, find the friction, then build something better.

ESN ASSI Parma · Digital Operations

I found repetitive work.
So I engineered it out.

I designed and built ESN ASSI Parma's digital operations stack from the ground up after observing bottlenecks in the organization's everyday workflows.

The work went beyond software. I refurbished unused hardware, upgraded it with an SSD and additional memory, installed Linux Server and turned it into a self-hosted platform for the systems I developed.

The result is an evolving ecosystem for event management, payments, office operations and attendance tracking - designed, developed, deployed and maintained end-to-end.

Why it exists

The project wasn't assigned. It started by watching how people actually worked, where time was being lost and where mistakes happened. Then I built the systems I thought should exist.

01.1

Yapi

Events. Payments. Operations.

The core management platform developed for ESN ASSI Parma. It centralizes recurring operational tasks around events and payments, combining a management dashboard with Telegram-based automation and connected services.

The goal is simple: reduce fragmented manual work and give the team a system it can rely on every day.

01.2

ESNoffice

Making the correct procedure the easiest procedure.

A guided web workflow for office operations, beginning with ESNcard registration.

After issuing a card, the operator photographs it and sends the image to a dedicated Telegram chat. A bot retrieves the image, uses Gemini to extract the ESNcard number and matches it against the previously registered database record.

The workflow reduces repetitive steps and helps prevent registration errors.

01.3

ESNscanner

Attendance without the clipboard.

A mobile-first web application for event entrances. Operators scan ESNcards directly from a phone to record attendance and associate participation with existing member data.

It replaces slower manual check-in procedures with a lightweight interface designed specifically for real event conditions.

CineAgent is a distributed movie recommendation system developed in Java using the JADE framework.

The architecture consists of six specialized autonomous agents communicating through ACL messages, querying external movie data and evaluating results across multiple criteria.

Borda-based consensus is then used to aggregate their rankings into a final recommendation.

A full-stack application developed as a software engineering project at the University of Parma.

I worked on the architecture of the application, including a custom PHP and PostgreSQL backend, relational data modelling and JWT-based authentication.

The complete application environment was containerized using Docker and designed with deployment in mind.

PublishWorkflow

A serverless web tool built for ESN Madrid to reduce repetitive event-publication work.

The system uses the Gemini API to transform unstructured social-media content into structured event information.

That output can then be consumed directly by the organization's publishing workflow, replacing manual transcription with an AI-assisted data pipeline.
