The short version

I didn't start
with software.
I started by taking things apart.

Computers, hardware, electronics. I wanted to understand why something worked, why something didn't, and whether I could make it better.

That curiosity eventually moved from physical systems to software, infrastructure and automation. But the way I approach problems has remained almost the same.

I tend to enter an environment quietly, observe how it actually works, understand where people lose time, where unnecessary mistakes happen and where repetitive work has become accepted simply because "that's how we've always done it."

Then I ask whether technology can remove some of that friction.

I am less interested in building software for the sake of software than in building systems that genuinely improve the way people work.
I want to leave systems better than I found them.
How I work

The technology changes.
The approach doesn't.

Understand first.

I don't like automating a process I don't understand. Before writing code, I want to know why the process exists, who uses it and where it actually fails. The best technical solution often becomes obvious only after understanding the real problem.

Own the whole problem.

I am comfortable moving between software, infrastructure, hardware and people when the problem requires it. If something needs to be deployed, configured, repaired or redesigned, I would rather understand that part too than stop at the edge of my job title.

Leave it better.

The goal is not to make people dependent on something I built. The goal is to leave behind systems, documentation and processes that make the organization stronger and easier to operate even when I am no longer there.

Beyond engineering

Some of the best lessons
happened away from a screen.

Studying in Madrid, volunteering in Portugal and Spain, and working inside international organizations taught me how quickly you learn when you leave familiar environments.

I enjoy multicultural teams, unfamiliar contexts and people who approach problems differently from me.

Those experiences have made adaptability, communication and curiosity just as important to me as technical ability.
